I´ve been using your software now for a whlie and love it. Though there are some features that I would like to see in an update very soon.

1. A bpm ruler grid. where you can set whole bars, 16th, 8th etc. If you got more than one audio clip on the same audio track in the timeline then you should be able to lock the bpm grid with a different bpm for each audio clip.

2. shift + control click on an audio clip should high light all light effects that belongs to the audio clip. as it is now you´re not able to high light all effects outside what you can view in the timeline. I´ts essential as moving stuff around is pretty usual.

also control A should high light everything in the time line.

3. control click and resize light effects should also resize the envelopes in the effect with the same amount.

4. would be great if you had an envelope to turn video output on and off, the same way you have a volume envelope for music.

5. It´s annoying that the envelopes from the previous light effect start the following effect. Would like the effect to start from zero.

6. some way to save your own light effects presets. Like drag and drop from the timeline to the effect folders on the left side of the timeline.

7. control+D for duplicate an effect and lay it snapped next to the previous effect.

Would be awesome if these features could be added very soon as I really think they are needed and will make editing more than double as fast. Especially the bpm ruler grid function.

We have been evaluating this for over a year now. I would love to work with you on how this can work with VenueMagic's timeline accuracy needs. I'll see if I can mockup some screen shots for discussion.

We have included the ability to link clips together by control-click each click and then on the right click menu selecting link clips. Does this feature fulfil this need or how can we improve it?

I'll add this to the list of features on the next release. How do you invision using it so we can properly document it in our manual?

I'll work with the developers for some ideas on how to do this.

This is actually by design right now. Do you have some specific effects you are having problems with? The only one I have had problems with is the chaser which is easily solved by adding a very short fadeout at the end.

We will add this to the list as well. We really appreciate all of these suggestions and will do what we can to include them in the next release or thereafter.

2. well, that works but it´s quite time consuming when you have hundreds of effects to click on.
It would be better if you had an option when right clicking on the audio clip like "higlight all effect" and that would only highkight all the effects surronded (above and beneath) to the audio clip.

control+A is good when you need to move everything in the timeline back and forward.

4. great! it would be even better if there was an edit tool (scissor) to cut out pieces in an audio or video clip.

5. I get it all the time. it would also be nice if you´re able to choose more than one envelope to move in an effect.

7. nice! Think if you where able to highlight a range , lets a fourth in the new bpm grid then duplicate it as many times you like with the control+D. then you would have a light kicking in on every fourth. and it would only take seconds to archive it. that is fast editing.
