Hello, I have some RGB dmx lamps with 7-channel DMX support. But when I add the lamps i have an wierd channel ordering. I place the lamp on channel 1-7 but the real output is 1,2,3,7,8,9,10 see image below:


Is that an known issue? I use the venuemagic DMXAV version. I have made a fixture by myself and used an fixture from the standard fixture library. that doesn't matter, the same channels are used. (elation- opti rgb)

Could you please export your user fixture profile, zip it up and attach it as a .zip file to this post? I'll load it into my local copy and take a look at it.

The file you sent contains a single ShowTec Par 64 with only three channels in it: Red, Green and Blue. The Macro, Selection, Strobe Speed and Dimmer are not there.

by the way, it is not only this fixture that gives me the wierd channels. The build in fixtures even give the wrong channels!

It works fine on my installation. This is a known bug on earlier versions. Look at your version number (Help->About VenueMagic). If it is older than 2.1.27.0 then download the latest 15-day trial and install it. Do a backup of your DocumentsVenueMagic directory first to be safe.

We also just discovered a problem with the auto-update feature on earlier versions so that they always claimed to be the latest update even when they were not.
