Windows 7 DMX-AV version won't detect my VM-USBDMX 10 Months ago

I recently installed the DMXAV trial version, I purchased the VM-USBDMX-01 converter also. The software loaded fine. Windows 7 recognized the new hardware and may have installed its own driver, I ran the driver program anyway, however the program does not detect it. I've tried forcing a driver from the root folder but have had no luck. Any ideas? I would like to be able to give this program a good try before the trial runs out.

Might be best to uninstall the device in Device Manager. Then BEFORE you plug the USB-DMX01, install the driver from the install files first. Plug in after. Hopefully this will work, else we may have to do some cleaning out of hidden devices, per - support.microsoft.com/kb/315539
